Studiomarine and Sustainable Development
For some years now, Studiomarine has been committed to sustainable development thereby anticipating the commitments made by the Grenelle Environment Round Table.
Studiomarine’s sustainable development policy consists of a human and social approach that is uncommon in the world of audiovisual production:
- Practically all technicians are in-house employees, ensuring a stable team that shares a common commitment to high standards and the respect of deadlines,
- In the same way, over the years we have built trust in our relationship with the voice actors and translators we contract for our audio productions; this privileged relationship ensures the same interlocutors and working procedures, avoiding any waste of time or energy.
Thanks to this human approach, Studiomarine is committed to the quality and deadlines of its translation, dubbing, recording and mixing services. Our priority is to achieve a successful end product at guaranteed rates.
With regard to the environment, we have taken certain fundamental decisions in the last few years:
- A waste management and recycling policy,
- The responsible purchase of paper (chlorine-free recycled or from sustainable forests), as paper remains an essential support for translation and dubbing in optimal conditions,
- Purchase of electrical bicycle and scooter to deliver mixings not exchanged via a secure broadband connection.
Projects for 2010: To go even further in our environmental approach, we plan to carry out an estimation of our carbon emissions whilst also considering ways of offsetting our carbon emissions.
We will keep you informed of the progress of our projects in our future newsletter.
